This is a plea to every soccer player, parent, coach, administrator, soccer and sports fan,
On Monday April 6, 2015 a press release was issued stating that the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh will no longer support a Men's Soccer team after June 30, 2016.
This news came as a complete shock to all of us in the Titan soccer family. After the shock, there was anger and disbelief. NOW however we are at the stage of ACTION…and we need YOUR help!
The ONLY way we can save and reinstate our program to ensure possibilities for
future student athletes is with your help and support. Please SIGN our ONLINE PETITION!
(We are NOT collecting Donations at this time. A pledge/fundraising effort will be started soon on our website at www.saveUWOsoccer.com)
We need to let universities and colleges know that SOCCER MATTERS and it is not OK to eliminate soccer opportunities for our youth players. Please support us to ensure opportunities for FUTURE collegiate soccer players.

I honestly did not think we would see this kind of energy so quickly and it really makes me feel like we might have a shot at keeping this program alive. Seeing the names pop up on my phone all day is just wild because it proves that people truly care about the future of soccer here and I am just so grateful for the push you all are giving this right now.

The momentum is actually picking up and I can barely keep my eyes off the count because we are almost at one thousand names which is just wild considering where we started. I really need to ask if you could send the link over to anyone who might care about keeping the program alive before we hit that threshold because the administration is definitely going to be paying closer attention once we cross it.

A hundred people have actually signed this thing and I am honestly kind of shocked because my phone has been buzzing nonstop all morning. It is just so wild that people care this much about the team and I still cannot believe they just decided to cut it like that without asking anyone first.

I wouldn't be the same athletic trainer I am today without getting assigned to this team in college. They were a great group of young men. This program has a long standing tradition of excellence and it would be extremely sad to see this program go.
Womens Soccer alumni '97, the mens program has been one of the best in the state for a very long time. As a playeryears back I wish I could have been on that team, best coaches best players, wonderful group of competitive athletes drawing from many states.
UW O is a fantastic university that has spent millions in recent years on new building dorms, etc. all money well spent to recruit and retain good students. Your telling me they can't figure out how to find enough money to have a men's soccer team?
Although I am not planning on playing soccer at UWO, i did attend the summer soccer camp of 2014 and was planning on attending many games during my future years as a Titan. I will be truly saddened and disappointed to see the men's soccer program go.
As a graduate student of UW Oshkosh, a college soccer referee, and a soccer coach, I cannot believe that the students athletes dreams and hopes will be terminated because of arbitrary and political budget cuts. Long live the Titans men soccer program. GO TITANS
Sports programs in college or any school for that much is a nescisity in my eyes. Sports promotes healthy living. With out sports men,women,boys,and girls won't have the ability to learn communication skills, team skills. For the sake of this generation and the generations yet to come DON'T take away a great learning and health promoting tool.
Please help save Men's soccer at UWO!

my daughter Bella just attended the Iron Mt camp. I cannot say enough great things about these awesome players and coach!! they were very skilled and patient with the kids. my 8 yr old learned so much from these wonderful guys. save their soccer program!!!!
