Sports programs in college or any school for that much is a nescisity in my eyes. Sports promotes healthy living. With out sports men, women, boys, and girls won't have the ability to learn communication skills, team skills. For the sake of this generation and the generations yet to come DON'T take away a great learning and health promoting tool.

As a former student athlete myself, I have seen first hand what collegiate athletics can do for a person during the formative years of college. It deeply saddens me that the university has chosen to strip these young men of an experience that I attribute to making me the man I am today. Shame on the AD and shame on the university.

Alumni give to institutions that uphold the programs that made them who they are!

Very disappointing to see the lack of transparency with this decision. I am an alum of UW-Oshkosh and I have had two of my daughters attend. Not a proud moment to say I'm an alum!

It's completely unfair that the team doesn't receive actual answers as to why they're cutting the program. We all deserve to know why this decision was made. All the information they told us doesn't add up at all.

Hate to see a program(s) go if its not necessary. If it is, would like more transparency as to why.

I'm an alumni of Oshkosh and I think it's complete BS how the chancellor and AD have handled this. You think they would do everything in their power to save this program. Why would you cut a program that is a yearly contender for the NCAA championship?!?! It's ridiculous how these "puppets" say it's out of their control. Sadly, I will not give any money to the university until this program is reinstated. Do your job administrators!

Why cut a program that gifts young adults with memories that will last them for a lifetime?

Absolutely insane to get rid of the Men's Soccer program.

As a student of UW Oshkosh, I have an interest in where my money goes and also an idea of where it goes. I believe that this program would be 100% sustainable if the administration was willing to act professionally about the situation. Soccer is a passion like anything else, any other sport or competition. Every has a passion, and for me and many others in the Fox Valley area, soccer is that passion. They are taking that away from me. And they are taking that away from us.

No program should be cut like this. No effort from the university to help save the program. As an outsider looking in, there has been no respect from the administration to the student athletes.
