In the wake of a new art building for the Woodside Priory, a darkroom, a room very important for a number of students here, has been excluded from the current blueprints. Personally, the darkroom that has existed at Priory for around 15 years introduced me to a passion that I otherwise would not have known I had. It's something that I would not have access to if there wasn't one here at school. I know that it has been extremely important to me, as well as other past and present students. Just as it inspired me as an artist, I am positive that if a new darkroom is added to the plans for the new building, it will inspire future Priory students. I encourage you to read the comments, especially those from students who have been affected by it, to show just how much of an incredible resource it is.
