This Watering Hole is a landmark known by all ZCHS athletes. To take it away is to take a way our rights as human beings to hydrate. Its economical convenience to the students has had an indescribable impact on the student athletes of this establishment. The minerals from those ancient pipes have fueled our growing and developing bodies for centuries and I for one am sickened to see, as a recent Alum of Zionsville, that this piece of the community is at risk to no longer stand.

The watering hole is were every play drinks for xcountry, track and field. It is the only significant source of cold water for students. It is also a way of team bonding and a tradition. Without the waterhole we will not be able to go on.

Even bus drivers use the watering hole! It has routinely been over 100* inside the bus and we empty our water bottles while taking kids home after school. When a team wants to leave as soon as you pull up to the high school, this is where we get the energy and cold refreshing water to get back on that hot bus and drive safely.

Literally every sports kid would basically die without the waterhole, like I carry around a 30 pound tuba during marching band and I probably would have fainted a couple of times if I didn't have the water hole. Tl;dr tuba is heavy, I need water.
