I'm in the ZCHS color guard/ marching band and I know that I would've died one the second day of band camp without it!

It's a hot summer during band camp I can't imagine my kids there without being able to get water quickly.......without we would be lugging huge coolers around and that's not something teenagers want to do....let's keep the kids hydrated keep the watering hole

This spigot is used by our cross country team, our marching band, we need this spigot here as even though we have water bottles, we still need to refill them, and we can't just walk into the football field or school to get water, we need an active supply of water to maintain homeostasis, and prevent ourselves for overheating, dehydrating, and eventually collapsing.

Honestly the watering hole is such a necessity to any outdoor activity. I did marching band for a few years and when I would run out of water at rehearsals, the watering hole would be the only way I could get water during a quick break. I have seen countless of other people using the watering hole for other activies like cross country. There's really no reason to put money into taking out the watering hole when the school could be putting the money into more important things like fixing the A/C.

I am a member of the ZCHS marching band and it gets really hot when we practice sometimes meaning we drink more water. The watering hole has saved me from dehydration many times and without it it would make everything much more difficult while practicing.

As a member of the marching band I can say for a lot of the members that this watering hole had been very helpful for to provide cold water.
