We the undersigned hereby affirm that a 200-year-old tree needs to be saved from removal due to the Hoosier Heartland Project. This tree is located in Carroll County near Burrows. The tree may not be in the way for the road itself but is in the way for utilities. This tree was once part of a family's homestead that has been passed down since through the family since 1848. Before the land was passed to INDOT, the owner asked that the tree be saved. This tree is part of a family's history and part of Indiana's history. Help the family and locals to save the tree by signing this. This petition will then be sent to INDOT in an effort for them to relocate their utilities to a different area. Thank you.
