The silence from the office of the Archbishop is heavy, but your stories keep me going. I hear from so many of you about how much these Masses mean to your families and your spiritual lives. We continue to look for ways to keep our community connected despite the obstacles in front of us.

Our family attend with my parents, Fr. Thoroughgoods Latin Mass. We have watched the parish attendees grow, we are financially generous and can't understand why the Mass is being stopped and Fr. Thoroughgood has been stopped too. He is an excellent priest. We are so so disappointed and frustrated by this action.
Please Your Grace, we live in the South East but when we travel to Adelaide we prefer to go to the TLM. We, and our 6 young children receive a lot of spiritual benefit from attending the latin Mass. You are daily in our prayers. Kind regards, The Izzards
I have autism and find the TLM offered by Fr Thoroughgood excellent for my sensory needs. By concentrating all Latin masses in one place, the crowds become difficult to navigate.
Dear Most Reverend Patrick O'Regan, Please reconsider your decision to cancel the Traditional Latin Mass at St Monica's. As a young person, I fear losing the peaceful, welcoming and reverent community that have helped bring me back to the Church and rekindle my Catholic faith. Warmest regards.
Dear Bishop. There is simply no need to do this. Please reconsider - it only hurts the faithful and Fr Thoroughgood is an excellent priest who cares for souls. The energy of the Church leadership should be channeled into building up the faith rather than shutting down places where it is flourishing

The TLM is a legitimate expression of worship in the Holy Roman Catholic Church; as it has long been the liturgical tradition. It can coexist harmoniously alongside the Novis Ordo mass...... this plurality is enriching in the worshipping of the one true God. Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
