The town council formally voted to renew the permit for The Tattoo Zone last night. This concludes the zoning dispute and allows the shop to continue operating in its current location. We will monitor the upcoming municipal meeting minutes to ensure this resolution is fully codified in the permanent record.
This petition is to help show support for, and allow The Tattoo Zone to continue to operate in South Boston, VA, as they have for the past fifteen years.
The petition reached 100 signatures today. I am now compiling these names into a formal document to present to the South Boston town council during their next public session.

Seams to me the town would do something about the person giving the wrong information, not getting rid of a place that puts money back into the town, not to mention all the good they do donating to all the charities they do!!!!

i have had Richard do 12 of my 13 tattoos, the 13th he fixed from another artist, as well as all of my piercings. never once did i have any issues with healing, cleanliness or unprofessionalism. Richard is a true credit to his profession.

This is a business in the neighborhood with my business iand adds to the traffic I get in my cafe. I dont have a tatoo myself but it is a very specialized art form and we are the "art district" in Halifax county. The Tatoo Zone needs to remain where it is.

I don' have any tattoos but both of my girls have gotten them from Tattoo Zone. They have beautiful tattoos. Never had any problems after getting them. I may never get one personally but I vote to leave him alone and give people a safe place to get them.

interesting after 15 years of being in business this happens . Obviously Richard has been successful at this business , paying his dues(taxes) . What more could South Boston want . Why not support his business instead of trying to shut him down ? I don't understand.
