I am a SHS alumni.
Field hockey has been a strong tradition for the district.
Eliminating this sport is a detriment to the community .

Sad to think something that brings girls together would be taken away. We need to keep programs that encourage not discourage. Our society is damaged enough!

Springfield Alum, many of my peers back in the day loved this sport. Keep FH, at least as long as you can field a team. Team sports matter.

As a former player, apart of the 2016 championship team, field hockey should not be removed. Sports play a pivotal role in youth development and particularly for girls it helps increase their confidence and self esteem.

started here in Springfield all directly linked to her as a field hockey player/ athlete. This all led to obtaining a position as an assistant Athletic Director at Dartmouth. The pry needs to be retained.
