I played this sport from 3rd grade through my senior year of high school. This sport has meant the world to me and I know it means a lot to this team. Please keep it going.

I graduated from SHS in 1989, and was a member of the 1986 State Championship team. Field Hockey is a wonderful sport of skill and stamina. Women's athletics are so important -- so many life lessons learned in being part of a team, and where lifelong friendships are made. Please find a way to keep a field Hockey team at SHS.

As an SHS alumni who had the honor of participating in the sport during the last championship win it would break my heart to see this sport leave our community. This sport is more than just an extracurricular to some. It’s an outlet to so many, and gives kids an opportunity to form bonds that can last a lifetime.
Yes for Field Hockey to stay! Scott P Ballard
