The emails I am receiving from worried parents are heartbreaking. We are compiling these stories to present to the school board.

Have 2 boys that will be able to go soon and hope the program will be around for them to attend!
keep the preschool program. the teachers start teaching responsiblity& that school is fun. THE right path for early education. my son benefitted and hope the program will still inspire HUNDREDs more. find the funding to keep this program!!
All 3 of my children attened the V.I.P Program in Bedford County. Its a good program academically to prepare for Kindergarten as well as socially. Some kids need the interaction and learn how to begin getting along with others.
My two youngest children went through the program and my two oldest didn't. My second child had she been able to attend I feel she wouldn't struggle as much as she does now. The two younger children learn faster and it was a huge help. Please keep the VIP program.
Early childhood education has been proven effective through beginning and ending PALS scores each school year! These little students continue to EXCEL in Kindergarten!
Please save this program! My son is in it this year and it is wonderful! I dont think he would be prepared for kindergarten next year if it wasnt for the awesome work the teachers do in this program. It is a wonderful asset to the school system.

My daughter was so much more prepared for Kindergarten thanks to the Preschool Program. I was also fortunate enough to substitute teach in several of the classes and got to see how much the teachers care for the children and what an impact they have on the kids. My daughter will always have a special place in her heart for her PreK teacher
