I actually cannot believe I am typing this but the Nut House is staying right where it belongs and nobody is tearing it down today. My hands are shaking a bit honestly because when we started this I really thought they would go through with the demolition anyway. Please keep …
I walked by the shop this morning and it just hit me again how weird the street will feel if we lose that sign. People keep sending me these old photos of their childhood visits and honestly it makes me want to scream because the city acts like this place does not even exist.

I worked at The Nut House for 20 years. Helped many young people "grow up" into productive ,fun loving adults.in this day and age people need a causual setting for stress relief.

The NutHouse is a Palo Alto community stronghold, a safe haven for working class people amidst billionaire (wealth-hoarding) neighbors, and a draws a much needed diverse crowd to the city.

PLEASE keep this place!
It’s the ONLY dive bar in Palo Alto that has been around for many decades.
The clientele is so diverse. You won’t find this at any other place in Palo Alto.
People come from all over the country to visit this historic place.
And as such, it should be declared.

This place was where I went when I decided to change my life and the workers and regulars gave me a home when I needed them almost 10 yrs ago. They are all know part of my "family". Because of the nut House I ventured into parts of Palo Alto I never would have otherwise. Please make sure to keep this landmark in place in an area where the idea of home is lost

Please save a place that the freaks and the geeks and the nerds can hang out, where they can feel like they can hang out at, without feeling ostracized from the “upper crust!”

One of the last honest bars around not succumbing to the gentrification. The Nut needs to be saved. For PA's sake, and for America's.
