Please sign our petition to help save the Midwest Counter Drug Training Facility. The M.C.T.C. is a training facility to help train the midwest's police officers in officer survival, terrorism, narcotics, and tactics. Until recently, all officers, regardless of department, could go to the M.C.T.C.; free of charge. With all lodging, training supplies, and meals provided.
Recently, congress has cut the funding to the facility, severely undermining the simple mission of the training grounds-"KEEPING OUR POLICE MEN AND WOMEN ALIVE!"
In the latest F.B.I. LEOKA (Law Enforcement Killed And Assaulted) report, police officers suffered an increase of 16% of officers murdered in the line of duty. An overwhelming number (55 out of 56) were murdered with firearms. Many of the courses at M.C.T.C. address this very problem, but there are scores of policemen that can't afford the additional cost of travel, lodging and meals. Sign our petition, follow the link to find your corresponding congressman/woman, and let them know "I support my police! Restore the funding to their life saving training!".
Ridiculous to cut funding for officer training when things are getting so dangerous out there. These guys need the best equipment and tactical practice possible to make it home to their families. Keep this place open.

Restore the funding now. Our police need this training to stay safe on the streets. Don't put a price tag on their lives.
