The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to request a formal meeting with the property management firm. I am currently drafting the letter of intent to keep this business on the square and will report back once they confirm a time to sit down.

The Melting Pot is a staple of Ocala. The owner is making a big mistake with not renewing their lease. They have been paying tenants for years. Not many restaurants make it downtown, a BBQ place in the square is a terrible idea.
Please save my job, as well as my mothers business! They have done so much more than just ran a business, but have created a family, and helped so many people change their life for the better.. they hire amazing people and change lives here!! They care about the community, our community!!
I was part of the opening team for this melting pot. I became the manager after about a month and enjoyed working with the original owners Sonny & Jill. I believe that this restaurant offers a unique dining experience for all occasions
They signed a lease during the rock bottom of our economy and kept income coming in for the owners. Now the market has rebounded and the owners can get more money so you show your gratitude with kicking them to curb? The new eatery will go under in less than 24 months. Good luck.
I uave loved the melting pot since i was little. Its my favorite restraunt and i habe many good memories there. Hope that it stay so one day i can sgare the great times i have tgere qith mu girls. Especially chocolate during christmas time

We drive down to the Melting Pot in Ocala because we lost the Gainesville one years ago. If this goes, then there will be no more Melting Pots within driving distance for special occasions, which would be very sad for our family. Does Ocala really need another barbecue restaurant?
