The melting pot needs to stay. It is a great place to eat in downtown Ocala. It is a staple of Ocala on the square. It is classy.

I had the pleasure of dining as a guest as well as a former employee. Sometimes this place is a very rare special treat for couples & families. There were people I would wait on who were waiting years to get to come here. I've seen engagements, birthdays, bridal parties- you name it-celebrated there. Many customers come from all surrounding cities to this location .It will be a real loss to the heart of downtown to lose the melting pot. I have not come across a single business owner downtown or member of the community that agrees with this decision. I hope something can change.
