We have more than enough apartments and subdivisions, housing that is sitting vacant or foreclosed. What we don't have is enough entertainment venues. Save the Masquerade and bulldoze a block that is in ruins instead...there isn't a shortage of blighted neighborhoods to choose from.

I love the masquerade please don't tear it down. I went for sooooo many things. I've seen famous artist to my every day friends play! I are used to go every Thursday, to drink dancing water gun battle/fight out on the grass. Halloween haunted houses Halloween contest. This is where I had one of my 21st birthday parties at,and one of my best friends got kicked out and for drinking more than me on my 21st. This is a great place for little bands to become known and maybe one day BIG. Tons of memories here that I will cherish. please leave it be.

This venue holds a special place in my heart. Losing it would be devastating not only to myself and music fans throughout the Southeast, but also to the music scene and industry in the state of Georgia. Countless artists reference their love for this venue, and it's resilience over the past 20 plus years. Please help keep this city landmark up and running for generations to come.
