The masquerade is more than a building or a club to many of us. It is a part of our DNA, a anchor within an Atlanta scene that is slowly dying and one of the few remaining icons of our youth.
Nobody needs more high end hipster crap in the beltline.

Please don't do this. Tearing down the masquerade will destroy the music scene in Atlanta. Bands will stop coming here because most can't play at the tabernacle

The masquerade has been the best venues for not just concerts but other entertainment based events. It's the best space for intimate performances and I've never been to a performance space that put me in such close proximity to the performers. There are a ton of living spaces near that area, the masq is a cultural icon in Atlanta. Let us keep it.
