We already have enough luxury apartments build them in an area that can use them.

This building is an iconic ATL landmark, and a legendary venue is the music scene in the U.S. It is a piece of history and if you tear it down, you're tearing down the hearts of all the people who love it so much too, and for an apartment complex. I'm not alone in saying that The Masquerade is more a home than a venue to me. It's the only building I've ever encountered that truly has a heart. The world has enough apartment complexes and not nearly enough artistic sanctuaries.

The masq has been my favorite place to see shows forever. Years and years. My best friend died in February and this is where we had a lot of our memories. You can't take it away.

I played my first show here, and so many famous bands before have played here. It would be a shame for such an icon to be turned into living space.

I've seen so many of my favorite bands play here and have a lot of great memories from this venue. It deserves to stick around.

I went to my first concert with my here with my older brother 6 years ago. I am now 21 years old. This is not an ordinary music venue. This is a historic building. I speak for myself and many others when I say this. This music venue is a safe haven for the youth. Whom enjoy seeing bands at a smaller, and more affordable music venue. This is is more than just a building to destroy, and build some mediocre apartments. This is where myself, and thousands of other people go to have fun. I understand there must be more and more apartments built due to the constant growth of Atlanta's population. There are many of other places to build mediocre apartments. This is not one of them. Please don't destroy this historic music venue. Please.
