I would really appreciate, and I'm pretty sure other squash players would also do the same, if the courts aren't removed. So far they are the best there is in downtown. Its convienient for student from different institutions such as NAIT and U of Alberta. Plus, so far it seems to be the most appropriate and well maintained which makes it better for league games. Even though, I'm a student at NAIT and yet I still prefer playing squash at Grant Macewan Squash courts by paying for my every visit. It would be really sad and unfortunate if this facility was taken down.

I was very disappointed to hear that Grant MacEwan is looking at closing their squash courts. There is no shortage of spaces in Edmonton to hold fitness classes - whereas squash Cory's are in short supply. Post secondary institutions are the most common way for people to learn the game of squash - a life long sport

The squash courts are an important facility for students and a vital connection to the community. Post-secondary institutions have long stuggled with their connection to their community and the sqaush courts at GMU bring people from the community to campus and thus expose them to the great things happening at GMU

Don't deprive the students from one of the healthiest sports out there. Squash is an important/fun sport for young and old.

The squash courts at Grant MacEwan are very busy. Both with students and others. Grant MacEwans involvement in the Edmonton Squash League brings people to the school from all our the Edmonton Region. If it wasn't for squash many of these people would never step foot in Grant MacEwan University. The courts are great for fitness and also great for advertising the University. Please reconsider your decision to remove these courts..

Put the cardio machines facing the courts so the pedlars have a real sport to watch.

Squash courts are invaluable to the community. This appears to be a short-sighted decision.
