The courts are a real community bond, bringing together people from all walks of life, both young and old. It would be a eal shame to get rid of the courts, when they truly do bring the community as a whole together.

I applaud Grant MacEwan's direction to offer first-rate student services and programs. However, closing the squash courts will result in public and student perception of a less-than-first-class facility and could negatively impact potential student enrollment and program sustainability.

Closing the courts will be a significant loss to the Squash community and the ability for students to build eye-hand coordination that is an important life skill not developed through spin and weight training.

These are some of the most used courts in Edmonton, and closing them would be incredibly detrimental both to Grant MacEwan students and to the Edmonton community as a whole.

Squash is ranked the #1 most healthy sport. Surely the decision to convert such a fine facility to a multipurpose fitness room is purely financial and not for the health and well being of the users! Please reconsider.

This is ridiculous. MacEwan has one of the highest number of Edmonton Squash League teams in Edmonton. Obviously these courts are used by the student population and the community. Rescind the decision.

MacEwan, your courts are the most used parts of your facilities... those yoga classes are never used at any gyms...

There are too few squash facilities in Alberta already. If these courts aren't used enough it is most likely only because they are not promoted enough. Please please please keep them available.
