the council finally gave us the green light to keep using morris field for the swaps. im seriously so happy we pulled this off and cant wait to see everyone out there again soon.

PETITION FOR USE OF MORRIS FEILD FOR AUTO SWAP MEETS
We, the undersigned, do hereby petition to the Mayor and Village Council of Los Lunas to continue to allow the auto hobbyist to use the Morris Field Sports Complex for automobile swap meets. The annual swap meets have used this facility since 2006. These swap meets have been benificial to the hobbyists and have brought thousands of visitors into Los Lunas to stay in motels, eat at the restaurants and shop at the businesses. The swap meet organizers have met and cooperated with the Village and Parks people, which has helped the meets grow every year. The Swap Meet organizers and participants petition the Village government to continue to allow us to use Morris Field for these great events.

As one of many out of town vendors (Carlsbad, NM) that participate in this annual event, I can personally attest on how this event helps the local economy. Just my group alone (6-10) that travel to Los Lunas stay in your motels, eat and shop in your resturants and stores. Please consider allowing NMCCC to continue to utilize Morris field. We are vendors and it's our home business without this swapmeat we lose our customers they know where are at the field and are always buying from us! losing this field would be devastating and we will lose our business and customers!!! No by no no
The Swap Meet brings a huge number of people to the area for the three days. This puts a lot of money into the local economy and provides very positive publicity to the village. Over the years, many people have remarked about the great venue and friendly town. If there are issues, let's work them out !!! Thank you for the positive consideration.
The spring and fall swap meet needs to stay in Los Lunas at Morris Field . It's a place to buy and sell auto parts and memorabilia, meet old friends and make new ones. I personally sell at the fall event and buy at the spring one. This would be a great loss to Los Lunas to miss these two events.
I live in Los Lunas and have attended the spring and fall meets for years. The years before Los Lunas it was held in the asphalt parking lot at The Pit in Albuquerque. A hot, dirty, and impersonal venue for a swap meet. This brings a lot of revenue to Los Lunas, and it gives Los Lunas an opportunity to showcase what a great town it is to live in compared to Albuquerque. Keep the event in Los Lunas!
This swap meet has been a great family friendly event. For many years I have been driving over 60 miles to attend.
Please retain the swap meet at Morris Field. I've been attending for the last 9 years. It's a great event!

Please allow his event to be hosted by your city. I personally don't ever go down to Los Lunas except to attend this swap meet. With that I do spend money for breakfast and or gas there as I'm sure many others do because trying to get breakfast anywhere on main street in nearly impossible that weekend. Not allowing this event in your city would be a big loss for both us car enthusiast and your city
