The state DOTD has too much power. I no longer live in Louisiana but, the old oak trees give it beauty and class. You should do everything you can to preserve the trees.

As a Louisiana expatriate, I would hate to return one day and see that we have cut down all our beautiful trees. These trees add to the apeal of the area for tourists and residents alike. Every effort and expenditure should be made to preserve them.

Bless ya'll for letting us know and putting this petition in place. Trees take a LONG time to grow, and THEY give US the AIR we are breathing!! Please, do not destroy these Trees!
