There are ways to solve any perceived flooding with grading and drainage. If you raise the roadway 2' you will flood the residence who on harding and forest.
Slow down traffic on sound beach with a second rotary at forest avenue.
We believe our taxes are to sustain our quality of life which means our parks and green spaces need to remain. Save the island at forest avenue, it is in keeping with our history.

If this project goes through it will increase truck traffic and much beauty around the park will be destroyed. What are they thinking?

The planned changes are a nassive waste of taxpayers money! The intersection must remain as it is, drivers need to slow down and communicate with each other, which is safer for bicyclists and pedestrians (our children) who use the streets. Cars are driving too fast along Sound Beach Avenue as it is, this would make the situation worse!

Old Greenwich is a charming, pastoral small town, and Sound Beach Ave is its heart. We do not want to see it turned into the equivalent of a highway interchange. Please think of another, noninvasive way to solve whatever problems you perceive. Personally, I don't see any. And the monumental cost?!?! We emphatically decry this kind of use of OUR tax dollars Put a cop at each intersection if you must!

This is an over-designed project that would cause more traffic issues than it would solve. Creating a 'T' at Forest and Sound Beach would significantly backlog traffic on both streets. More comment and study is needed here.

This is downright silly (and expensive). OG is an old, quaint village. We don't know LA's 405/10 Interchange. The circle at the Perrot is just fine.

There are better things to do than take away the roundabout in front of the library
We need to save the trees and thing that make the town a town not a city keep it the way it is .

I have lived one and half blocks from the Sound Beach Ave rotary for 21 years and drive through the rotary
multiple times a day, every day. I have not witnessed one accident in 21 years and find drivers to be courteous and patient as we navigate the rotary in concert. Both the rotary and the island on Forest Ave as well as the mature trees that line Sound Beach Ave, add beauty and charm to our lovely village. We urge you to abandon this unnecessary and unsightly project and put the allocated resources to better use on the many things that our town needs.
