I have lived in Oxhey all my life and The Happy Hour has always been there. It is unfair that such a place will be taken away from the people that have kept the place going for all these years. Why can't companies have a thought about the people rather than their bank balance.
This is a true Community local pub that many would say is a lifeline for the older generation local to the area who I fear for once the pub is closed, simply because it’s where they all still meet up with like minded friends. If this is taken away, where will they go? It’s a crying shame.
This is a great pub. Me and my family love it. Nice affordable food. Love the locals. And the garden is great for the kids to play. Be a shame to get rid.
Don't let this pub go, it's too important to us all, Chess club and groups meet there. It has a very important role in our community of this pub goes it will be so sad. All the elderly people will become recluse because there is no where else they can go to meet up with friends in the local area. We have lost so much recently lets not loose this too
This is the last pub within walking distance. most of the pubs in s.oxhey are shut or shutting. Its Part of our community and our community is important to me should be to society as a whole

Everyone my friends and I are back home in Watford we always come here. Great staff and great prices. Such a shame to see it go, especially with all my friends back this Christmas

This is pub was the last local in the surrounding area. We have been using this pub for the last 35 years a very friendly pub and another nail in the coffin for community life.
