This is pub was the last local in the surrounding area. We have been using this pub for the last 35 years a very friendly pub and another nail in the coffin for community life.

I have just moved to the area and found this to be the heart of the area. It's a real shame as locals need the community.

Local pub frequented by families. Also close to playing our fields and there's nowhere else in this area without going into Oxhey or town :(

It's what a local pub should be - local and within walking distance. Somewhere for the community to socialise.

I have lived in Oxhey all my life and The Happy Hour has always been there. It is unfair that such a place will be taken away from the people that have kept the place going for all these years. Why can't companies have a thought about the people rather than their bank balance.

I have used the Happy Hour for years, why is it that the owners seem to shut a good pub, and let the local community suffer.

This is a community pub that welcomes every one who walks through their doors, the closing of this pub will further isolate the elderly people who come together to meet here.
Please spare a thought for them.

This pub is an extremely important part of the community here. To change in to unaffordable housing would be a waste
