Keep this amazing program win win win. Both for the trainee, the dog and the person in need. Money and resources well spent.

This class was my favorite I’m really into a profession with animals, the experience from this class helps me get so much closer to where I want to be. On my first job I put this class in my resume and my manager and I talked about it forever DURING MY INTERVIEW. This class is truly amazing and we NEED it for people who enjoy working with animals and helping others

Programs like this are the things that make SLC school district stand out, the sports and academics aren’t out of the ordinary, but unique electives that push student’s passions make it worth it for students.

In a world today where teens are doing detrimental things, THIS is a place where they are choosing to do good. This is a foundation for teens to become giving, hard working, selfless members of their community. It is a service that provides independence and freedom to those in need… it is a gift. There is a lack of volunteers that are willing to do this, and in this club you have people who are excited and willing to participate. Please support these teens in their efforts to continue this program, and please support the ongoing mission to provide independence to the many people in need of a guide dog.

Each GDB club is one small piece of a large and incredible community. A group of volunteers who are dedicated to advocating for the visually impaired, learning real life responsibility and skills that apply to many domains in life. Raising guide dog puppies creates a strong foundation and background for a vast amount of careers in not only animal fields but advocacy and community.

It is a wonderful program for the students, dogs and more importantly the blind person that is benefitted the most.
It teaches the most important things that education can teach, compassion and service.
