The bears need to stay alive!!!! They are important to the wild life plus do you know how hard it is for a mother to keep her cubs alive??? they have to fight against bear male plus wolves to protect them and she has to find food for them. They did nothing wrong. That would be an atrocity to kill them. Just leave them alone. They will go away and find food somewhere else.

Killing an entire family of bears because of human stupidity and recklessness is simply ludicrous. Relocation is possible and ad far as garbage is concerned, in many areas garbage has to be brought by the owners of each residence to a space where there are containers for that purpose, seeing as they share their living space with wild animals.

Couldn't these bears be tranquilized and relocated? I understand that protecting wildlife and humans is a difficult tightrope to walk but shouldn't we always be looking for the outcome that is best for all involved - both people AND animals?

please don't kill them, stop the outsiders from coming in to your town. they are unconcerned about the bears they are like leeches all trying to suck the blood at of 1 story and not caring who gets hurt. Maybe if you charged for permits to take photos and used those funds for security for the bears, this could have a happy ending. thank you

THESE BEARS CAN STILL BE SAVED IF IT'S NOT TOO LATE!! Unless they are an immediate threat to locals (clearly they are not)or have rabies, there is NO REASON they cannot be tranquilized and transported together to a remote area far from urban centers. Unless they have been hand-raised by humans, they need not be moved to a sanctuary. This is utter nonsense. And I find it hard to believe ANY sanctuary would reject a healthy mother and her cubs, unless government regulations tied their hands. Something's not right here. Some goon at Fish and Game arbitrarily dropped a death sentence on these beautiful creatures for NO GOOD REASON. They are ignoring their own mandate to preserve wildlife because they are too lazy (or underfunded) to do the right thing, and they want to use these bears' lives to make a point to some foolish humans who acted selfishly. THIS IS HAPPENING ALL OVER AMERICA, AND IT NEEDS TO BE PUT TO A STOP ONCE AND FOR ALL!! Locals (everywhere wildlife is under such attack) can and should take action--protect this beautiful mother and her babies by making a LOT OF LOUD NOISE NOW!!
