The Department of Fish and Game is still refusing to relocate these bears and is choosing an easy death instead of a real solution. I have spent the week demanding answers from their office but their arrogance is only matched by their silence. We are not letting them execute this family while we watch.

This is despicable. The mother was displaying aggression to ward off what she determined to be threats to her cubs and now her family is going to be killed for it?! And what about this trash problem that the town has done absolutely nothing about?
I have an animal welfare certificate and I believe there are other methods that can be used besides euthanized the bears. relocation with radio collars, or transfer them to a Canada rehabilitation center as there are several here willing to take in bears
We need to make it a priority to live peacefully with other creatures. This is their home too, and it's cowardly to simply kill anything that inconveniences humans. This mother was simply trying to protect her cubs. Killing this family IS NOT THE ANSWER!
I am so confused & frustrated as to why people are not being fined? You live in bear country, you secure your garbage & your bird feeders! This is a repetative story. Tahoe, New Jersey, Alaska. Manage the people-that is where the problem lies.
please reconsider talk to the locals I'm sure they would disagree and continue to search for a sanctuary give it time now that this is viral one will most likely come through and give this mother and her babies a safe and happy place to call home
Humans should know better the to crowd awild animal that could easily kill them.the fact no one has been attacked should really show you what's up. Relocate and move on
Cant they be relocated to the forest or somewhere far from humans?

Come on... You KNOW people caused this interaction. Let's be REAL Canadians and rally in FAVOUR OF BEARS. I'm in Muskoka, Ontario and my neighbours live with black bears with only garbage mess BECAUSE cottagers put it out before 8:00am., on pickup day.
