killing an animal because of man's stupidity is murder. Maybe there should be consequences for the family who would not leave them alone???? Major fines? Jail time? Something should be done to teach them a lesson.

The people are in the bear's space and you don't see anyone threatening to shoot them. Move them somewhere, fine people for messing with them, but don't kill a bear for being a bear. We are eventually going to kill off every animal in America if people don't stand up and voice their thoughts. SAVE THE BEARS!!!

This was NOT the bear's fault; she was simply protecting her family after human interference had already affected her food supply and habitat. PLEASE do not punish innocent lives due to unnecessary and ignorant human meddling.

This is completely insane. Relocate them to a rural area. Or impose strict regulations on the town to ensure that bears aren't attracted. Or euthanize the moronic reporters that signed this family's death warrant. Fish and Game- you are completely delusional (not to mention evil) if you go through with this.
