This is so cruel. I live in WV and we have bear problems from time to time. Why can't you just relocate them? People are ignorant. They should be ashamed of forcing the mother to feel that her cubs were in danger. She's a good mother, and can you imagine how they felt? Scared. All those people and cameras? Shame on those people.

Don't kill them because of humans stupidity! If people leave them alone then the bears will not have to be killed! Why not arrest the people ignoring the fact that they should leave a mom bear with kids alone!

I can not believe that the Fish and Game officers are that trigger happy. Fine those posing the risk to the bear family with their stupid behavior. There is enough public awareness out there, that this should never have happened. So the Mother bear huffed at the gawkers...she was warning them to stay away. She did not attack anyone, and was not being aggressive.

Could you at least find a wild life sanctuary willing to take the tourists and nature photographers? No? Better euthanize them too, just to be safe.

The humane thing to do is sedate the mother and her cubs and relocate them. Please remember that we are actually on their turf and have forced wildlife to adjust to us.
