Rather than killing animals for being animals, why don't we enforce better trash containment so they are tempted to come into the residential area and rummage through trash. Killing 5 bears for doing what they do is not right.

Please fix the problems with people before giving up on this bear family. For starters, prohibit unsecure trash and bird seed. Enforce the rules and stop giving the bears a reason to come around.

Relocate the bears! There is absolutely no justified reason to kill a mom and her cubs. Would you do it if they were human? Have some heart and compassion for our animals.
