THE CITY OFFICIALLY RETRACTED THE EVICTION NOTICE AND THE FURGARY BOAT CLUB IS SAVED!! WE WON THIS FIGHT BECAUSE YOU ALL REFUSED TO LET OUR HISTORY DISAPPEAR. NOW WE KEEP WATCH TO ENSURE THE FUTURE OF OUR RIVERFRONT STAYS SECURE!
We the undersigned recognize that the Furgary Boat Club (AKA the Tin Boat Association) is an integral part of Hudson's history and a unique, living example of fishing villages of the past. We urge the City of Hudson to retract its 30-day eviction notice and grant the Tin Boat Association a one-year lease while we, the citizens of Hudson, actively participate in discussions regarding the future of the North Bay and the importance of including and preserving the Furgary.

I really hope they listen to us. The tin boats are iconic honestly it would be a huge mistake to get rid of them.

Save the shacks! They are way better than some ugly modern building.

This place has been here forever. You just dont destroy history like this because you want to build something fancy. Leave the Furgary alone.

My grandfather spent so many days down there. Its part of what makes Hudson special and not just another generic town. Keep it alive!
