The carnival has been a constant attraction at The Entrance forever! If this is shut down , what else is there to do? The Entrance was once a great destination for families and now there is VERY LITTLE entertainment left. The town centre is depressing with many stores shut down. Cinema- gone, Games Zone shut. Please keep the rides.

Please keep carnival been coming here since I was born so lovely for the kids and families and no other attractions suitable for kids apart from beach.

We come here all the time with our children and grandchildren, we’ve actually bought a place so we can keep coming anytime. The carnival is the main attraction.

It would be a real shame to see the entrance amusement park destroyed. For years, it has been a place filled with fun, laughter, and joy, bringing families and friends together. Countless memories have been made there—first rides, shared smiles, and moments that people will cherish for a lifetime. The park is more than just an attraction; it is a meaningful part of the community that has provided happiness and lasting memories for generations.

As it is the entrance precinct is nearly a Ghost Town. The Crown land reserve needs amusements and it is irrelevant who owns them at this point seeing we are looking at a 10 year plan.
The facility is needed for any appropriate amusement operator to be able to apply to the council to establish such an appropriate amusement facility.
