We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our Bainbridge City Council leaders to uphold the Historic Preservation Commissions decision to deny the demolition of 423, 429, and 433 E. Shotwell Street (aka the "Cooper House"). This viable property is significant in its historical, cultural, and architectural uniqueness. The historical, cultural and aesthetic heritage of the City of Bainbridge is among its most valued and important assets. The preservation of this heritage is essential to the promotion of the growth, prosperity, and general welfare of its citizens.
