Dear Joyce, ".... a great compromise." (?) Let's just assume for the sake of argument ... that the Confederate Battle Flag (CBF) NEVER existed ... then would our Confederate Heritage be Honored? Would there then be NO problem with the Political Correct, Progressive, Liberal Left, Fake News Media, Socialist, Communist, Marxist, Fascist, Move-On, Hands Up Don't Shoot, Black Lives Matter, Anarchy and NAACP groups? The answer is a resounding NO! The NAACP is the puppet master operating behind the curtain! The actual Wizard of OZ is none other than our own federal government and its hidden nefarious agendas. In 1991, at their national convention, the NAACP targeted the Confederate Battle Flag (CBF) for removal from all government venues and has been working overtime to achieve this objective. There is no more racist and hate organizations in America than the NAACP along with the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and of course they can always call on the Al Sharptons, Jesse Jacksons for added riots and bigot lies at a moments notice. After the Confederate Battle Flag is vanished from general public view, the next step (already underway) is to remove all Confederate monuments from government properties. Never mind that such Confederate monuments have been resting in place for over 100 years. I hope you get the picture! On this issue there can be NO compromise; you must fight for your Confederate Heritage or it will be "Gone With The Wind." Deo Vindice! .... Best Regards! Henry Russ

The time for this nonsense of destroying our history is OVER. How can we possibly learn from our mistakes if we try to re-write history?

This is not just an historical issue, but a social issue as well. To honor the South and it's people is more decent that what is being celebrated as fashionable today.

ALL "Confederate Soldiers," who served Honorably in the Armies and Navy of the Confederate States of America (CSA) are by U.S. Congressional Public Law(s) designated as "American Veterans" ... thus entitled to all the rights, privileges, honors, etc. the same as all other American Military Veterans of all WAR(s) that the USA has participated in. Following the end of the Spanish-American War in December 1898 and thru the ending of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century, a movement by the North was started by President McKinley to reconcile with Southerners. There are numerous Congressional Acts, Public Laws, Appropriations Acts, U.S. Statutes, etc. from McKinley Administration thru President Eisenhower administration showing support for Confederate Soldiers and memorials. For the record in 1906, Congressional Action (Public Law) ordered the return of all Confederate Battle flags back to the States from whence they came. The South was destroyed by an illegal and undeclared War Of Northern Aggression (1861-1865) followed by 12 years of Federal Marital Law called "Reconstruction" from 1865-1877. The North was guilty of "Genocide" against the Southern Americans and today the Southern people are again under the siege of "Cultural Genocide. Time to Stop the "Cultural Genocide!"
