The clock tower should remain to just remind the new generation how the old school used to be like!

What happens to councils? Does all common sense leave them when they get into positions of power ? Must we have to sign petitions force an issue that should be just common sense. We the residents like clock tower. Honour our wishes!

Keep the clock tower. The COUNCIL SHOULD KEEP & USE BUILDINGS and sports facilities rather than spend our council tax destroying. Then our Council tax would be cheaper.

Why demolish something that has been there for so many years spend money on something that needs money ie pot holes etc not something that has no relevant

A historical part of the community, it adds culture and character to our village. The entire community is in great support as it has been an iconic backdrop to the many fantastic projects, markets and charitable events the community organise throughout the year. This is more than a clock tower it is a piece of who we are!! A piece of our childhood the love and kindness at the heart of the Lockwood community. I myself have been a proud student of this fantastic school and feel it world be a great shame for it to go. It represents my humble beginnings, my achievements and struggles. The clock tower is empowering for myself and hopefully many future generations too.

I attended this school and so did my family, the memories me and my friends made have all gone with the building being demolished and rebuilt. The clock tower means a lot to me, my family and my friends. We used to play violins in the clock tower, our youth club was held in the clock tower. It’s just a little piece of our childhood that’s still there

Elected members should take heed of the people they represent. The clock tower is part of my heritage and hundreds of other people who live in Lockwood.

We should be preserving out heritage for future generations and not demolishing them. Such a shame it never had a listing put on it. Grew up in Lockwood, house on Bland Street from 1958, Mount Pleasant was my first school, used the clock everyday, never needed a watch. It’s disgraceful and simply shouldn’t happen.
