I was in charmer in high school and it bought me out of my shell that i was in. I was very shy in high school. I never had a sister growing up in my family, but once i made charmers i had like 20 or more sisters. I will never forget the great time i had,and still talk about my time in it. Sanger will not be the same if u take the charmers away sanger high pep rallys and football games will never be the same. I hope the tradition stays so more girls can have this great experience in their life.

I was on a Drill Team in high school and I couldn't have imagined my life without it. I learned so much and I feel it made me into the woman I am today. It teaches responsibility and you make friends for life.

your taking away potential scholarships from colleges if your get rid of the charmers. A dance career is possible and having dance experience in high school is necessary for a career in college dance programs.

Without the Cherokee Charmers I would not be where I am today! I wouldn't have gotten scholarships been able to go to college. Put myself through any type of higher learning. I'm now the owner of a successful business, out of debt, and on my way to a successful life! I really have never understood why a school district would want to shut down something that will help a young lady become successful!

You cannot take away the drill team! This provided such an opportunity for young ladies to thrive. Further. The Charmers are a huge part of Sanger and it's History.

Don't take away the dance team! What would the Indians be without the awesome halftime show these ladies once put on? This gives young women something to be proud of and focus on something positive! Keep them around!
