as a parent and as a biker this is an insanely stupid move. Not only will it impact the local economy with a monetary negative, but it will alos remove a large area of greenspace in an already dwindling supply of such.

I’ve grown up at Calstock primary school and for children it would take away a lot of outdoor things to do in such a small village.

This would be a shame if it were to go ahead.

Unnecessary scheme spoiling a local facility, and a beautiful spot.

Disgusting and should be stopped! One of the best things about Calstock is that the locals always come together to stop stupid ideas like this and am sure they will again!

The loss of this vital village amenity must be stopped. If this proposal to flood the fields goes ahead the loss to the village will not only be a huge financial one (not only from the donations to local causes but also to businesses in the local, such as local shops, the two pubs and tea shop etc.) but also from return visitors who come to the village outside of events such as the bike show.

Been to the bike show for many years and would be a real shame to lose it,many thousands of pounds have been donated to the local community over the years due to the bike show,i should think there will be quite a fight against the EA if they dont come up with a viable alternative

It's not just about the bikers in this case. The village clearly benefit from the revenue from such events.

To take away those fields is to take away a massive attraction to the area.
