I have lived across from brooker for 47 years! I have only known this school as the braves!

I don't believe the picture of the brave little Indian boy is in any way disrespectful to the American Indians in any way. As part Blackfoot Indian myself, I feel like we are losing a huge part of our history, both American and Indian by making this change. It really saddens me that my son's first year at Brooker, he will not be a Brave and yes, the money needed to change out mascots could be put to better use.
