I have used this pub for many years as it is the place my local football team was formed in.

This pub has played a major role in the past history of the city and of the football club in particular. It should not be allowed to pass into history itself!

This public house has been part of my life since 1962 when I first started watching Southend United Football Club which as most people will know was founded there some 56 before I started following the team.

As the birthplace of Southend United FC, this vibrant pub should always remain open for supporters to enjoy on match days.

This pub is about being a community hub and very much part of the history of Southend United. To lose it is to trash many years of history. An important part of the folklore of the town/city.

The Blue Boar is an establishment with a long history. I believe it should be safeguarded as an Asset of Community Value and retain it's current purpose as a Public House.
