The Blurs Boar public house and Southend United Football Club are woven into the history of the area. Both the pub and the football club should be protected at all costs. Southend has already lost far too much of its history to developers. Time to change the status quo.

The Blue Boar is of huge importance to Southend. It's the very social and historical fabric of the area. The trend has been for Southend to build more and more flats and tear the very heart of our heritage out forever!! Save the Blue Boar for the future!!
