The Barony is a facility that the SRUC and all of Scotland should be proud of. It's custom-built dairy is an amazing resource for training stakeholders in the dairy industry in Scotland and beyond.
Moving the unit to the Crichton could well put the sustainability of another national asset; the Langhill herd at risk as the pressures of teaching could potentially damage the important research at the Crichton site.

Fantastic learning environment where students are respected and treated as individuals, allowing each and every one of them to build their self esteem and develop into brilliant tax paying career adults. What's not to like?

Barony is an excellent college. It brought my niece's education to life.
The proposed changes are an unnecessary choice and will hurt many young people in their educational prime.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I love the barony college, it fits in with what it's about by being where it is.i have got young children but will hopefully be coming to the barony in the future..
An inspirational location and Rural industry center of excellence. Recognised internationally for producing, educated, and hands on rural industry professionals for decades
Don't be short sighted or blinkered with moving this college
It could be argued a Agricultural college not situated in a rural setting is not an Agricultural college You need hands on rural assets to train and gain realistic experience. Think Scotland think the Barony

I picked barony as this college gave me the best experience I could have had to learn, not only do they have brilliant lecturers we are taught the crucial hands on experience that we need in life to carry out this type of work. Dread to think what would be the outcome of the wildlife hospital! Save the barony!!

This is a brilliant college - I had a fabulous few years working there, and knew maybe people who studied there. It would be an absolute travesty for it to close.
