Must be saved we need such things as this in our area. The percentage of employment in our area is from agriculture, farming & fisheries & people need trained or else a lot of skills will wither out due to new blood not being trained properly.

What are they thinking?? Invest at the Barony, surely the cheaper option, steady investment over a few years, not a massive spend at an unsuitable location! What is the likelihood that students, especially in the Agricultural sector, will have the same opportunities for practical experience and learning at the Crichton? I know that Barony students have full access to the Barony farm , and to say that first year Agricultural students will benefit from being closer to researchers?? Nonsense! They want hands on learning! Learn from your past mistakes SRUC!!! Auchincruive disaster still fresh in many people's minds, Shame on you and your vastly overpaid, arrogant "leaders"!

I attended The Barony when I left school. A fantastic place and it is perfectly situated for all the needs of the students.

Relocating the Barony will lose everything special about it, keep it where it is and look into how to improve it and what more could be done with the place!!

You can't teach rural studies in an urban environment. Everything gets disjointed and loses the point. KEEP THE BARONY!

A great facility which deserves to remain in its current rural location.

My son go's to the barony and love's where it is. It is a best place for it as there is plenty of country side and woodland and farms for all students to learn and all the staff r brilliant, why change something that works really well where it is .
