Unmöglich! !! Das college bietet ausländischen Auszubildenden viele Erfahrungen, die sie zu hause nie lernen können. Für eine europäische Zusammenarbeit ist der Standort sehr wichtig! !

Closing Barony Campus would be a dreadful shame to all those concerned. It's a beautiful place for students and the animals they care for.

As a past pupil in 19-61 and respected supplier of Forestry equipment to this college which I reckon has the most modern technology in respect of all agricultural and forestry engineering education, it has expanded in line with the times. Nowhere is there a college better geographically placed .I am not aware of the financial implications but I am pretty sure if properly researched any problem could be solved and would hate to think that greed was involved in any decision to close. Room for easy expansion exists here at this well known campas. The farm school struggled to make profit in the early years, when the late James Gulloch became principle the farm went into profit and has expanded in line with modern education since. As I cannot view the situation from the authorities that wish to close it I would very much like to hear their point of view and how closing the Barony college would benefit our aspiring students of tomorrow.

My sister goes to this college and has told me it is very good. It seems like somewhere I would like to go in the future.

I attended this collage for over two years and enjoyed every minute of it it should not be relocated it will loose most of the courses that can only be taught there update and rengenerate the campus already there instead of destroying another well known long standing facility that has been there for decades .

I spent a year at the Barony studying countryside skills form 1994 to 1995. It was the best year of my life, without a doubt, and the range of facilities and learning opportunities were excellent. There is no way that a move onto the Crichton site could provide the same level of educational experience right on the doorstep.

Its location most appropriate for the Barony and its ethos to develop student's rural training in a rural location as you would experience in a farming area. If it is a matter of cost, please look into developing capital instead of closing this location and moving the college to town.

I studied at Barony for 2 years and its the best college i've been to so far so closing it is the worst thing :( the courses and opportunities they offer you don't get anywhere else in the country so please take this into consideration.

The Barony is an incredible place to study! Closing it is so wrong. It would be a real blown to land based learning
