It's the natural place to learn for a reason. No other college gives you as much hands on and experience. You can have all the qualification in the world but without hands on experience your no good at the job

Went here once on an animal care trip from newtown st boswells and its a brilliant collage. Why would you put an agricultural college in the town or city. Makes no sence to me!

I don't understand why anyone would think it a good idea to move a college specialising in rural and agricultural studies to an urban area. It seems counter intuitive to the work the students will be doing at the college and will need to learn about. I can only see it costing the college more in trips to rural areas to give the students the experiences they need to further their learning and education. Keep The Barony in the countryside. A rural location for a rural college!

Educational courses about rural activities should remain in a rural environment.

It would be such a loss if this wonderful establishment closed! Spent a fantastic year studying Horticulture in 2005.

Please do not close this wonderful college down, no place else could offer the opportunities this college does and set in such beautiful surroundings, when i was there I Worked within the agricultural farm, deer farm, fish farm, small animal centre, kennels, equine and the wildlife centre to gain lots of hands on experience with a wide range of animals which helped me gain a hnd in animal care leading me 2 starting work with the sspca where i have been working for the past 9 years, i wouldnt have got this job without my experience at barony as i stayed on site and it built up my confidence and all the staff were truely lovely and very helpful! #BARONY2STAY

The Barony is a unique place of learning, this will be diminished with out the site that it is located on.

This is where I trained 16yrs ago, it is a great college and provided me with the education to qualify as a veterinary nurse.
