Great Hands on Experience that couldn't b offered in a Town setting! Every job now expects experience and Barony offers this and more! No other college can offer this! Best Year of my life! xxx

How can you teach rural skills in a town please keep the Barony where it is.

I had an amazing experience at Barony College, I believe it would be a great shame to lose such an incredible asset to Dumfries and Galloway

Brilliant education facility for Dumfries and Galloway that has been responsible for training many of our local rural workforce. It was a vital step for me to achieve a degree and provided me with a practical background which many of my fellow graduates didn't have. Great location and wonderful staff!

This is a very unique college and location, if this campus is moved to the middle of the town I struggle to see how it can still successfully offer the courses it currently does, the actc is purpose built for both vet nurse students and animal care students, it is the only campus that can offer wildlife experience while studying and as a result I have gained extra skills that I wouldn't necessarily have gotten anywhere else. I fail to see how the barony campus can continue to provide a great, unique and well sought after experience and qualifications from an urban environment when all of it's courses are based on countryside and animal care whether it is from an agriculture perspective or veterinary nurse one. I hope the desicion is reconsidered as it will be a great loss if moved.

I studied here for two years and half the decision was the location, I would definitely not have attended if it was in a town or city!

I grew up on a Galloway farm, my brothers went to Auchincruive in the early 50s, the Barony is our local college and is valued by the students and the farming community. It would be criminal to move it and destroy its soul.

Disgusting it needs to stay in a rural area and continue. Leave things alone all changes that are being made across the countries learning sector are damaging the future.!!!!!!

I think there is a need for this college, because it has a hands on approach not everything is theory
