A developer has purchased a small patch of green space on Music Row. A condo/office space will take the place of grass, a picnic bench, and majestic trees. Please sign this petition asking the developer to build around the trees or just build elsewhere! The old Reba McEntire building could use some help... Thanks!!!

I spent the entire morning staring at those oaks and thinking how ridiculous it is that a hunk of concrete is worth more to them than living history. I have been emailing the developer office constantly and honestly the lack of a reply is just fueling my fire because they really think we are going to look away.

A little green space is important amongst the bricks, we need to see life amid the lifeless.

Man the stories this ole tree could tell. If all the birds that have known that tree as home n all their off spring could tell you how much they love n depend on its existence for their servivoul you'd be ashamed of yourselves for ever even thinkin of doin it any harn. I bet it got a few names n dates carved in it's ole bark as well. Please let this ole feller make it. Please! And may God's blessings be upon each and everyone of who have anything to do with the final decision.

Music Row is more than streets and buildings, it's an environment, a landmark district and a precious legacy. It's part of what makes us Music City

Trees like that take hundreds of years to grow and a hundred seconds to cut down. Unbelievable.

Trees are a part of our history,I just visited my old neighborhood with my brother, we were so excited to see our tree was still on the corner, developers can accommodate the community without tearing down a beautiful treasure.
