In my retirement I plan to use this resource to apply voluntary environmental work.

We must do everything we can to stop the ‘brain drain’. It hurts everyone of us and it hurts our country.

We need our library for people that give up their time for research and educate others.

This would be a disastrous loss to science and must be resisted!

As an academic, maintaining and updating library resources is essential. The scientific literature needs to be available and readily accessible to inform and engage staff at all levels. This library also contains an invaluable and important resource that is specific to Wales and one that is important to retain now and build for the future.

What a disaster! Without libraries knowledge painfully acquired over decades is lost.

It’s time to call a halt to the endless stream of cuts in UK. Closing this library is a retrograde step in the promotion of the understanding of the countryside and wildlife in Wales.

Invaluable resource which should be retained, there is nowhere else in North Wales which has such an important collection of natural history books

The library was so important to me when I was a member of staff at CCW/NRW. It really shouldn’t be closed down.

Closing this service would be a retrograde step at a time when it is more important than ever to promote our understanding of the natural environment.

This is a valuable resource and should be maintained by qualified staff. Not all the information in the library is available online.

PLEASE save this. I need it for writing my Flora of Denbs along with a lot of other info

What a retrograde step and to lose this resource at a time when it is most needed, is mind blowing ignorant!

This is too important to disperse these books, journals and reports. Please think again.

Could not the money be saved by sacking a dozen bean counters instead?

A library is a service and should make books & documents available. As president of the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland, I see this a retrograde step, when wildlife and plant conservation need all the support possible

When I worked for NCC / CCW I found the library both books and Journals a very valuable source of data for use in casework and general background knowledge
