Save the 59 bus at Chalk End

Many younger folk don't have cars and the bus is the safe, affordable and reliable travel giving access to their community, learning, friends and family and with an existing bus stop it shouldn't be lost. its a nonsense to remove it as it would pass by yards away, but the loss of stop unfair? I recently heard of a rural planning permission request could fail because it didn't have a bus stop? Don't loss an existing stop please!.

Save the bus stop and the bench within.

Taking away this service will leave many in Chalk End isolated!! Hardly inclusive approach to transport??

We are regular users of this bus stop which is the safety one. I would like the bus to come through the village like it used to

This stop serves many people in Chalk End but is also an important stop for people in the Easters. It seems a real shame to take this service, which is still running along the main road, away for the people accessing this stop.

Please reconsider this very sad decision !?

I believe that the removal of the stops is so detrimental to the local community, it is actually harmful to a significant sector of vulnerable people.

No transport here as it is and now this ??????

Not used by us that often but there would always be a necessity.
