As the bus will still run past Chalk End, what is the logic in stopping the very short detour?

Absolutely disgusting to stop this servixe. . It takes about a second for the bus to turn into Chalk End.

I have frequently collected my daughter from the Chalk End bus stop on her daily commute home from school, in Chelmsford. Nice a safe to wait for her as it off the main road, where there would be no collection point. In addition I have watched many number 59 buses already bypassing this stop as they continue past on the 1060. So waiting for a bus there is a bit hit and miss!

Buses are already hard to get in&out the village as is- taking one away would make it even harder.

It is safe to pick up on that small route at Chalk End and we must think of the people of Good Easter.

The Chalk End stop is well used, especially by students travelling to college, young people without their own transport and the elderly. The bus stop is safe and away from the fast, busy and unlit 1060. It is such a minor detour surely the bus saves very little time.

We need to keep the 59 bus service as there is no other public transport to go Chelmsford or Harlow.
